Day by day I enter this coffee house. Sitting by the window staring at life as it passes me.
Early in the day, people shuffle their feets. Sounds hardly escape their lips. Each engulfed in their inner worlds, thinking, contemplating, remembering. Life today is just beginning.
Laughter begins to permeate the air. Friendly chatter, urgent questions and salutations. They settle down and get to work.
I sip my tea and the world moves on.
The laughter grows. They move in groups, seperated into their worlds. None really stopping, moving on quickly.
The day closes. The sun retires and is relieved of its post. Still I sit there, gazing at life. Perhaps I should go out. My cup is now empty, the dish is clean. I wonder. I hesitate.
Soon the sun returns. And I sit at this coffee house by the life side, and look at the world go by......
